Lazar Stefanovic is a PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Vienna and a visiting researcher at the Vienna Forum for Democracy and Human Rights. He specializes in the international law of human rights of persons with disabilities. From 2017 until 2020 he served as a member of the National Mechanism for the Prevention of Torture in Serbia, and worked in an NGO dedicated to the promotion of social inclusion and human rights of children and adults with disabilities, as a policy and advocacy advisor.
